   Dean Karnazes participates in a live chat ta Radio ORIAT FM in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

4. July 2, 2016: Kazakhstan #Dean525

   July 2 saw Dean run 47 miles (76 kilometers) from Qazygurt to Shymkent, Kazakhstan. For the departure from Qazygurt, Dean was joined by youth and local runners who came out early in the morning to see him off.

5. July 3, 2016: Kazakhstan to Kyrgyz Republic #Dean525

   Dean started today at the Aisha Bibi, an 11th century mausoleum that serves as a monument to love and faithfulness. Today marked the end of Dean's first Kazakhstan leg.

6. July 5, 2016: Kyrgyz Republic #Dean525

   July 5th saw Dean running through the mountainous heart of Kyrgyzstan. Running through the cloudy mist, Dean was able to see first-hand the traditional Kyrgyz nomadic lifestyle.

7. July 6, 2016: Kyrgyz Republic #Dean525

   On July 6th, Dean bid the Kyrgyz mountains farewell, but not before having one final adventure. Waking with the rising sun, Dean began his route into the Too Ashuu valley.

8. July 7, 2016: Bishkek #Dean525

   Dean arrived in Bishkek on July 7 where he started the day by visiting the Shopokov English Access program. The students were happy to practice their English with him, and even happier to run with him for a few hundred yards.

9. July 8, 2016: Kyrgyz Republic #Dean525

   On July 8th, Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan welcomed Dean in grand style. The day started with Dean appearing on Zamana, a Good Morning America style show and ended with an outdoor concert.

10. July 9, 2016: Kyrgyz Republic to Kazakhstan #Dean525

    Dean leaves the Kyrgyz Republic for the last leg of the Ultramarathon run in Kazakhstan.
