4. Sam Brown Chairs Panel in Arkansas to Spur Fulbright Scholar Alumni Investment

   On December 12, 2016, Board member Sam Brown chaired the panel titled, “Fulbright Scholar Alumni Network – Developing a Call to Action for Fulbright Scholar Alumni to Become More Involved in Global Sustainability and Technology Deployment” as part of Club de Madrid-P80 Group Foundation’s Global Solutions Institute Conference in Little Rock, Arkansas.

5. My Fulbright Story: 'Life through the Lens'

   

   Keisha Toms combined her opportunity as a Fulbright student researching identity in Yemen with her love of photography, which provided her a unique way to connect with the various populations within Yemen.

6. The Fulbright-National Geographic Award

   The Fulbright-National Geographic Award (Fulbright-Nat Geo) is a component of the Fulbright U.S. Student Program. This program will support a Fellow’s storytelling efforts on a global issue or set of issues affecting citizens of both the United States and another country or set of countries (up to three countries).

7. Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board (FFSB)

   The J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board was established by Congress for the purpose of supervising the Fulbright Program and certain programs authorized by the Fulbright-Hays Act and for the purpose of selecting students, scholars, teachers, trainees, and other persons to participate in the educational exchange programs.

   At the U.S. Capitol on May 22, 2019, the Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs unveiled an updated Fulbright Program brand identity.
