1. 2011-12 Fulbright NEXUS Regional Scholar Program

   

   The Fulbright Regional Network for Applied Research (NEXUS) Program is a network of junior scholars, professionals and mid-career applied researchers from the United States and other Western Hemisphere nations engaged in a year-long program that includes multi-disciplinary, team-based research, seminar meetings, and a Fulbright exchange experience, in one of three areas: Science, Technology and Innovation; Entrepreneurship; and Sustainable Energy.

7. Megan Cox - Fulbright NEXUS Scholar

   Megan Cox is a Barbadian who received the Fulbright NEXUS scholarship to continue her study on the impacts of karst sinkholes and suck wells on the groundwater quality in Barbados.

   The Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board (FFSB) held its 277th quarterly board meeting on November 14 in Davis, California.

10. Funding and Administration

    The primary source of funding for the Fulbright Program is an annual appropriation by the U.S. Congress to the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA).
