1. July 5, 2016: Kyrgyz Republic #Dean525

   July 5th saw Dean running through the mountainous heart of Kyrgyzstan. Running through the cloudy mist, Dean was able to see first-hand the traditional Kyrgyz nomadic lifestyle.

2. July 6, 2016: Kyrgyz Republic #Dean525

   On July 6th, Dean bid the Kyrgyz mountains farewell, but not before having one final adventure. Waking with the rising sun, Dean began his route into the Too Ashuu valley.

3. July 9, 2016: Kyrgyz Republic to Kazakhstan #Dean525

   Dean leaves the Kyrgyz Republic for the last leg of the Ultramarathon run in Kazakhstan.

4. July 10, 2016: Kazakhstan #Dean525

   Dean completes the final leg of his Ultramarathon across Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan.

   Established in 2007, the annual Secretary of State's International Women of Courage Award honors women around the globe who have exemplified exceptional courage and leadership in advocating for human rights, women’s equality, and social progress, often at great personal risk.
