   On November 3, more than 1,600 participants who are in the United States on the Exchange Visitor Program – students, interns, au pairs, and research scholars – will volunteer at the TCS New York City Marathon, the world’s largest marathon.

4. IVLP Gold Star Lebang Nong Returns to U.S. to Continue Addressing How “Without Education, There is No Future”

   Each year, approximately 5,000 current and emerging foreign leaders in a variety of fields travel to the United States on the U.S. Department of State’s International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) to cultivate professional networks with their American counterparts.

5. Supporting a Collective Response Against Corruption through the IVLP in St. Petersburg, Florida and Washington, D.C. 

   On International Anti-Corruption Day, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken honored eight Anti-Corruption Champions at the 2022 Anti-Corruption Champions Award Ceremony hosted by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs.

6. TechGirls 2013: A Network of Young Innovators

   

   TechGirls is an international exchange program designed to empower young girls from the Middle East and North Africa with the knowledge and resources to pursue higher education and careers in technology.
