1. Office of Policy and Evaluation

   The Office of Policy and Evaluation works to ensure quality and consistency within ECA programs by developing the Bureau’s performance plan, evaluating the impact of Bureau programs and preparing annual and periodic performance measurement reports. The office also coordinates Bureau alumni activities and houses the Bureau & Cultural Heritage Center.

2. Institute for Design & Public Policy @ RISD

   

   The inaugural Summer Institute for Design and Public Policy is a partnership between the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) and the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. The Institute was hosted August 2-8, 2015 on the RISD campus in Providence, RI.

   State Department kicks off the first of its new Fulbright Arctic Initiative to support a team of scholars with researching and assessing the impact of change in the Arctic.

8. Fulbright Alumni Celebrate 20 Years of Choral Success

   Fulbright alumni David Ramirez and Josue Ramirez Palmer celebrated the 20th anniversary of the Choral Institute with an unforgettable concert at the National Theater that united musicians from Costa Rica and the United States.

9. 2011-12 Fulbright NEXUS Regional Scholar Program

   

   The Fulbright Regional Network for Applied Research (NEXUS) Program is a network of junior scholars, professionals and mid-career applied researchers from the United States and other Western Hemisphere nations engaged in a year-long program that includes multi-disciplinary, team-based research, seminar meetings, and a Fulbright exchange experience, in one of three areas: Science, Technology and Innovation; Entrepreneurship; and Sustainable Energy.

10. Lebanese Fulbright Alumnus Honored by Temple University for Leadership in Interfaith Dialogue

    As a Fulbright Scholar, Dr. Farhed worked with Temple University's Dialogue Institute on the 2008 Fulbright Interfaith Community Action Program to bring together ten religious leaders, scholars, and community leaders from Saudi Arabia, India, Israel, Indonesia, Pakistan, France, Malaysia, Lebanon, England, and Burkina Faso.
