1. 2015 GSMP Alumnae Empower Women Around the World

   Sixteen international participants have completed the U.S. Department of State’s espnW Global Sports Mentoring Program (GSMP) and now join the ranks of 50 other GSMP alumnae.

2. Announcing the Recipients of the 2017 Emerging Young Leaders Award

   The U.S. Department of State honored a group of extraordinary young leaders with the Emerging Young Leaders Award. These inspiring youth from around the world will be recognized for their tenacity and courage to promote conflict resolution and prevent violence in their communities.

3. Study in New Zealand on a Gilman International Scholarship

   

   The Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program provides scholarships to U.S. undergraduates with financial need for study abroad, including students from diverse backgrounds and students going to non-traditional study abroad destinations.

4. Brazil and Basketball: Athletes from Sao Paulo

   

   ECA hosted 14 teenage athletes—seven boys and seven girls—and two coaches from Brazil in the U.S. for a basketball exchange from February 6 to 18, 2013.

5. Sports Diplomacy and Senegal: Empowering Women and Girls through Basketball

   

   The Empowering Women and Girls through Sports Initiative’s 2013 calendar tipped off with the Senegal Sports Visitor basketball program.

6. Middle Eastern Soccer Coaches Team-Up for Sports Exchange in the U.S.

   

   Organized alongside the excitement of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil Sports Diplomacy hosted a Sports Visitor soccer program for coaches from Libya, Tunisia, Egypt, and Yemen.

7. Colloquium Connects Museum Representatives from Around the World

   From September 29 – October 1, 2014, representatives from nine American museums met with their overseas counterparts in Washington, D.C. during the 2014 Museums Connect Colloquium.

8. Emerging Young Leaders Award 2016 #EYLeaders

9. The 2016 Our Ocean, One Future Leadership Conference
