6. Fulbright in a Connected World (New York, NY)

   

   The 2012 second meeting of the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board took place in New York, NY. Members visited ground zero, celebrated the Fulbright-mtvU program, promoted Fulbrighter's sharing their experiences in social media and heard from Fulbrighter Simon Dinnerstein about his experience in Germany in 1970.

7. Uncharted Waters

   

   Beatriz Recinos, an undergraduate student from El Salvador, studied oceanography and geophysics at Humboldt State University in Northern California while participating in the Global Undergraduate Exchange Program.

8. Sports Envoys in India: Empowering Youth through Baseball and Softball

   

   The State Department’s first-ever joint baseball and softball program sent MLB Hall-of-Famer Barry Larkin and Olympian Natasha Watley to India as Sports Envoys in Febuary 2013.

9. 2013 Moroccan AEIF Winner Mobilizes Entrepreneurship

10. Exchange Alumni Partner with Kuwait Oil Company to Support Opportunities for Disabled Individuals

    Exchange alumni Nora Al-Othman and Abdul Aziz Al-Mutairi pair partnered with Training Gate International (TG-I), a leading organization in assessing the needs of the disabled community in Kuwait, to organize a forum on disability issues in Ahmadi, Kuwait.
