7. Lebanese Fulbright Alumnus Honored by Temple University for Leadership in Interfaith Dialogue

   As a Fulbright Scholar, Dr. Farhed worked with Temple University's Dialogue Institute on the 2008 Fulbright Interfaith Community Action Program to bring together ten religious leaders, scholars, and community leaders from Saudi Arabia, India, Israel, Indonesia, Pakistan, France, Malaysia, Lebanon, England, and Burkina Faso.

8. Mongolian Leaders Visit U.S. to Learn About Disability Rights

   

   A delegation of 8 Mongolian disability rights advocates, including the Minister of Population and Development, Members of Parliament, and representatives of civil society, visited the U.S. on a Professional Fellows On-Demand exchange program to learn about the Americans With Disabilities Act.

9. 2015 GSMP Alumnae Empower Women Around the World

   Sixteen international participants have completed the U.S. Department of State’s espnW Global Sports Mentoring Program (GSMP) and now join the ranks of 50 other GSMP alumnae.

10. Announcing the Recipients of the 2017 Emerging Young Leaders Award

    The U.S. Department of State honored a group of extraordinary young leaders with the Emerging Young Leaders Award. These inspiring youth from around the world will be recognized for their tenacity and courage to promote conflict resolution and prevent violence in their communities.
