YES Story: Zaid

Hello my name is Zaid, I'm from Jordan and I was placed in Kendall, Indiana and I'm on the YES program.
I think exchange programs especially the YES program is really important because the basic idea of it is to vanish stereotypes and build bridges between the Arab world as well as US.
So being a Christian Arab I had the privilege of talking more about how coexistence is in Jordan between Muslims and Christians just like the Holy Month is going on right now in Jordan of Ramadan.
I get to explain more about how all live together and how I have Muslim friends and how we go to school together, and I got lots of questions about it, and I was more than happy to be
representative of it.
