The Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs announced that a Russian delegation of 18 youth hockey players and their coaches would participate in the first-ever ice hockey exchange in Washington, D.C. and New York City.

In partnership with the National Hockey League, the delegation engaged their American counterparts on the ice, in the classroom, and in local communities. This is the fourth sports exchange conducted under the U.S.-Russia Bilateral Presidential Commission's Education, Culture, Sports and Media Working Group.
