Narrator:

You are listening to Kester Edwards, a Sports Envoy from Trinidad and Tobago. What does living without limits mean to you?

Kester Edwards:

I’m a former Special Olympics athlete from Trinidad and Tobago. I accept my disability. I live a life without limitation. My experience in Cairo was to help Special Olympics Cairo teach athletes how to swim. By the end of the week, we had them at least swimming the lap of the pool.

How did I share my story?  Coming back to the U.S. I shared my story with my colleagues at staff meetings, newsletters and pictures. Cairo reminded me of Trinidad Special Olympics Trinidad and Tobago. As growing up and trying to find my own life to live without limitation, these athletes did achieve that and you keep living your life without limitation.
