You are listening to Esma Gumbedridze, a FLEX (Future Leaders Exchange) participant from Georgia. What does living without limits mean to you?

Esma Gumbedridze:

Living without limits means to me to live and to be able to achieve the same goals as every sighted person can to be useful for this society as well as sighted people are. The best and most memorable and valuable part of my American experience was volunteering because I felt useful. I felt that I was doing something for the community not only the community was doing something for me. It gave me a sense of working and job experience. When I came back I organized a big presentation about my American experience in my school for the blind and I also wrote an article about it.
