Alito Alessi:

Hello, my name is Alito Alessi and I’m the founder of DanceAbility International, a dance method that uses movement to work with all people and any combination of people -- dancing without limits!

This year myself and a fellow dancer were chosen as U.S. Art Envoys to travel to Indonesia, Mongolia, and the Philippines. Danceability develops the idea of living without limits by providing programming for all people on many levels from recreational to professional, from teaching to performing and community building.

In all three of these countries, people who did not have the opportunity to express themselves through dance are now part of ongoing Danceability programming. In Mongolia, a mother of a 14 year old disabled girl said, “Thanks to you and the United States, my daughter has had her first social experience.”
