   41 women entrepreneurs from around the world arrived in Washington, D.C. to begin their International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP).

   As part of our marking 75 years of U.S. government-sponsored international exchange programs, in October we are celebrating the way our exchange programs engage with communities around the world through various volunteers and civic leadership activities.

   State Department's Collaboratory supports MOOCs, open educational resources, augmented/virtual reality, and emergent technologies that enhance educational exchange programs.

7. Culinary Diplomacy

   

   Culinary experts from 25 different countries visited the United States as participants in the International Visitor Leadership Program.

8. Solvita Jirgensone Story

   

   Five years after her first International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) experience, Solvita Jirgensone will return to the United States as an IVLP alumna.

9. Hisham Al Thahabi

   

   Four years after his first International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) experience, Husham Al-Thahabi will return to the United States as an IVLP alumnus.

10. Capacity Building

    The Evaluation Division serves as a resource to ECA program teams to learn from and apply M&E data to enhance our programming and better serve our stakeholders. The Division builds internal capacity for ECA program officers through formal and informal training sessions, as well as tools and templates created to guide program teams in various M&E-related tasks.
