1. Arkansas Edition: British American Parliamentary Group (BAPG) Exchange Program

   

   U.S. Congressman French Hill, Representative to the 2nd District of Arkansas and U.K. Member of Parliament, Rehman Chishti participate in the British American Parliamentary Group (BAPG), an exchange program sponsored by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs at the U.S. Department of State.

2. American Exchange Alumni Work Together to Fight Trafficking

   Forty American alumni of more than ten U.S. government-sponsored exchange programs came together in Washington, D.C. this month to expand on their experiences disrupting illicit trafficking networks, building resilient institutions and communities, and assisting victims and vulnerable populations.

4. State Department Emphasizes Importance of Keeping Exchange Participants Safe

   On February 26, Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary Jennifer Zimdahl Galt hosted a dialogue with ECA cooperative partners and sponsors that administer exchange programs to discuss how to continue to strengthen efforts to safeguard the health, safety, and welfare of exchange participants.

   Mohamad discovered his love for chemistry in the United States. He wasn't able to learn in a lab until he came to study with the YES exchange program. What he's done since then is truly remarkable.

6. The Community College Initiative Program Commemorates First 10 Years

   The U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) is commemorating the Community College Initiative (CCI) program’s 10th anniversary (2007-2017) through the publication of Community College Initiative Program: The First Ten Years.

8. For the Fifth Year Running, International Exchange Visitors Will Be the TCS New York City Marathon's Largest and Most Diverse Volunteer Contingent

   On November 3, more than 1,600 participants who are in the United States on the Exchange Visitor Program – students, interns, au pairs, and research scholars – will volunteer at the TCS New York City Marathon, the world’s largest marathon.

9. A Welcome Milestone for the NSLI-Y Program

   This summer, over 400 American high school students traveled overseas through the National Security Language Initiative for Youth (NSLI-Y) program.

10. Supporting a Collective Response Against Corruption through the IVLP in St. Petersburg, Florida and Washington, D.C. 

    On International Anti-Corruption Day, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken honored eight Anti-Corruption Champions at the 2022 Anti-Corruption Champions Award Ceremony hosted by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs.
