1. Office of Citizen Exchanges

   The Office of Citizen Exchanges gives American and foreign participants the opportunity to gain knowledge and share their expertise and experience through professional, youth, cultural, and sports exchange programs.

2. Grants Division

   The mission of the Grants Division (ECA-IIP/EX/G) is to effectively plan, direct, and execute by grant or cooperative agreement, or other appropriate means, assistance instruments for the Department's educational and cultural exchange programs.

3. Fulbright-mtvU Fellowship

   A component of the Fulbright U.S. Student Program, the Fulbright-mtvU Fellowship is a special opportunity for up to four U.S. students to pursue projects around an aspect of international contemporary or popular music as a cultural force for expression.

4. History and Mission of ECA

   As part of America’s larger story of respect for-- and interest in-- all cultures and faiths, ECA’s range of programs exist to encourage mutual understanding as well as international, educational and cultural exchange, and leadership development.

5. Academy for Women Entrepreneurs

   To augment the existing slate of projects focused on women and economic empowerment, the Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) established the Academy for Women Entrepreneurs (AWE) in 2019.

6. Honoring the 2021 Trafficking in Persons Report (TIP) Heroes through IVLP

   Human Trafficking is not exclusive to one singular region; it occurs in every country. Traffickers often exploit the most vulnerable and marginalized.
