   The National Security Council hosted a summit in December with 100 of the most influential travel bloggers and digital media outlets at The White House to highlight current U.S. Government initiatives and new strategies for encouraging American students to study, volunteer, and work abroad.

8. American University Students Conduct First Student Led Virtual Exchange, and Connect with Students Around the World

   Twenty undergraduate students at American University’s School of International Service designed and piloted their own virtual exchanges with students from Brazil, the Czech Republic, India, Japan, Kenya and Morocco.
