1. Administrative Partners

   The U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) administers the Program under policy guidelines established by the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board (FSB). with the assistance of binational commissions and foundations in 50 countries, U.S. embassies in more than 100 other countries and cooperating agencies in the United States.

2. Office of Policy and Evaluation

   The Office of Policy and Evaluation works to ensure quality and consistency within ECA programs by developing the Bureau’s performance plan, evaluating the impact of Bureau programs and preparing annual and periodic performance measurement reports. The office also coordinates Bureau alumni activities and houses the Bureau & Cultural Heritage Center.

3. Ongoing Evaluations

   Evaluation reports currently in-progress. The Division's evaluation projects are large-scale, 18-to-24 month studies designed to assess outcome achievement and long-term impacts, with respect to overall State Department, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs and program goals.

4. Museum Representatives from Around the World Convene for Museums Connect Colloquium

   10 American museums met their overseas counterparts in Washington, D.C. during the 2013 Museums Connect Colloquium.

5. OneBeat Brings Socially Engaged Artists to the U.S.

   OneBeat, a cultural exchange program developed by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs in collaboration with Bang on a Can’s Found Sound Nation launches its 2018 east coast fall tour with stops in Florida, Maryland, New York, and South Carolina.

   Partnerships

   The Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) recognizes that achieving progress when it comes to advancing women’s economic empowerment requires us to work in collaboration with partners. ECA partners with the private sector, academia, and other public entities where there is strong alignment to meet program objectives.

7. Fulbright – National Parks Partnership

   The U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, the National Park Service of the U.S. Department of the Interior, and the Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board, announced the establishment of the Fulbright-National Parks Partnership on January 13, 2021.

8. DanceMotion USA Connects Cultures through Collaborative Dance

   Turkish, American, and Armenian dancers performed a collaborative dance piece at the Brooklyn Academy of Music as part of an ongoing cultural exchange sponsored by the Department of State’s DanceMotion USA program.

9. Colloquium Connects Museum Representatives from Around the World

   From September 29 – October 1, 2014, representatives from nine American museums met with their overseas counterparts in Washington, D.C. during the 2014 Museums Connect Colloquium.
