The U.S. Department of State is pleased to announce the IVLP Impact Awards Initiative to provide follow-on support to recent IVLP participants. The primary objective is to enable recent participants to leverage and share knowledge and connections gained during their exchange experience and to design and implement innovative solutions to challenges facing their home communities, including in responding to the current global health crisis. IVLP Impact Awards are currently available to any participant of an IVLP project that occurred in 2021.

Participants should submit proposals as individuals.  This will be a competitive process and the Department of State will consider and select proposals that have clearly defined goals and objectives, and realistic budgets. Project proposals may request funding of up to $5,000 U.S. Dollars (USD). The projects must be completed within six months, and all activities must be completed by July 31, 2022.

The Department of State is pleased to partner with Meridian International Center (www.meridian.org) to implement this new initiative.

For more information, please email IVLPImpactAwards@state.gov.  To submit a proposal online, please click on the below link.  Proposals are due by December 8, 2021.
