Fulbright Public Policy Fellowship
The Fulbright Public Policy Fellowship is a component of the Fulbright U.S. Student Program. Fulbright Public Policy Fellows serve in professional placements as special assistants in foreign government ministries or institutions and gain hands-on public sector experience in participating foreign countries while simultaneously carrying out an academic research/study project.
This Fulbright opportunity in public policy was launched in 2012. U.S. Embassies, Fulbright Commissions (where applicable), and host-country governments coordinate appropriate professional placements for candidates in public policy areas fields including, but not limited to agriculture, civil rights, economic development, education, energy, environment, information technology, justice, law, post-conflict reconciliation, public health, public finance, transportation, and women’s issues advancement.
