Fulbright in Italy
The Fulbright Program offers grants to qualified Italian graduate students to study at the graduate level in the United States. Italian scholars may apply to conduct post-doctoral research at U.S. institutions and are eligible for the Fulbright Scholar-in-Residence Program. In addition, students and teachers are also eligible for the Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) Program. Italian scholars are eligible for the Fulbright-Schuman and Fulbright European Union Scholar-in-Residence Program.
The Fulbright Program offers grants to Italy for U.S. citizens. U.S. students and young professionals may apply for grants to pursue independent research in Italy, while U.S. scholars may teach or conduct research in Italy through Fulbright. U.S. scholars are also eligible for the Fulbright-Schuman European Union Affairs Program and the Fulbright Specialist Program. In addition, U.S. students are eligible to apply for the Fulbright English Teaching Assistant (ETA) Program.
