3. State Department Announces Gilman Top Producing Institutions

   During the academic year 2020-2021, nearly 300 Gilman participating institutions sent nearly 800 recipients to 48 U.S. states, D.C, and Puerto Rico to study or intern abroad, including virtually, in 77 locations around the world.

5. Administrative Partners

   The U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) administers the Program under policy guidelines established by the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board (FSB). with the assistance of binational commissions and foundations in 50 countries, U.S. embassies in more than 100 other countries and cooperating agencies in the United States.

6. Office of Global Educational Programs

   The Office of Global Educational Programs plans, develops, administers and monitors the Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program, the Community College Initiative Program, the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program and several exchange and professional development programs for secondary school teachers and educators, with the help of private, non-profit organizations.

7. State Department Announces Gilman Top Producing Institutions

   The U.S. Department of State is pleased to announce the inaugural list of U.S. higher education institutions that sent the most students overseas on the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program in academic year 2016-2017.

8. Fulbright – National Parks Partnership

   The U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, the National Park Service of the U.S. Department of the Interior, and the Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board, announced the establishment of the Fulbright-National Parks Partnership on January 13, 2021.
