The African Women’s Entrepreneurship Program (AWEP)
Through the Department of State’s International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP), approximately 30 African women entrepreneurs arrive in the United States each year to attend professional development meetings and network with U.S. policy makers, companies, industry associations, nonprofit groups, and multilateral development organizations.

2011-12 Fulbright NEXUS Regional Scholar Program
The Fulbright Regional Network for Applied Research (NEXUS) Program is a network of junior scholars, professionals and mid-career applied researchers from the United States and other Western Hemisphere nations engaged in a year-long program that includes multi-disciplinary, team-based research, seminar meetings, and a Fulbright exchange experience, in one of three areas: Science, Technology and Innovation; Entrepreneurship; and Sustainable Energy.
