Aziza Kayumova is the President of the Standard Dance Sport Federation in Tajikistan, an independent public organization, which promotes, encourages, publicizes, and facilitates the art of sport dancing in all its forms nationally. The Federation implements its activity in cooperation with the National Olympic Committee, Committee for Youth, Sports, and Tourism under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, and other sport organizations. The Federation promotes sports dance programs and develops and popularizes particular dance types in Tajikistan, including using dance as means of physical education.
She will be mentored by Renee Posan, Director of Business Affairs & Olympic Relations at USA Gymnastics.
As part of her mentorship, Aziza will help plan the "National Gymnastics Day," an event proposed by First Lady Michelle Obama as part of the Let’s Move! Initiative.
