As a Public Diplomacy Envoy, Major League Baseball Hall of Famer Cal Ripken, Jr. traveled throughout Japan to spread goodwill through baseball. During Mr. Ripken’s whirlwind week in Japan, he led clinics in Tokyo, Tohoku, and Kansai and toured towns that were affected by the earthquake and tsunami. He was joined by former American League All-Star (and former Baltimore Orioles teammate) Brady Anderson.
