Northwest Christian University (NCU) students, faculty and staff will be joined by students from Lane Community College (LCC) for its annual International Student Thanksgiving Dinner on Sun., Nov. 17, 2019, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in NCU’s Morse Event Center at the corner of Alder Street and 11th Avenue in Eugene. More than 250 people are expected to attend the event.

Organized as a potluck dinner, the menu for International Student Thanksgiving includes traditional Thanksgiving Dinner fare such as turkey, mashed potatoes, rolls and butter, pie, sweet potatoes, and other savory dishes.

This is a free event and it is not a requirement to contribute food items to attend. For anyone who would like to contribute a dish for the meal, information is found here:

What a joy it is when come together to give thanks for the rich and diverse cultures that make up our campus communities over a meal. Each attendee can write what they are thankfully for as we build a tree of thankfulness. Line dancing will be an optional activity for attendees to participate in after dinner as well.
