Description (no more than 300 words)

Find out why Amideast Education Abroad prefers community-based learning (CBL) over internships, and learn about how community organizations and local NGOs have weathered the COVID pandemic in Morocco and Jordan and what that means for future participants and their CBL experiences. Join us on Tuesday, November 16th at 10:00 am Eastern Time for a conversation on local community organizations and the challenges and possibilities that lay ahead for them in Morocco and Jordan as we move past what we hope is the worst of COVID. We will be joined by Dr. Mjriam Abu Samra and Dr. Rachid Touhtou, Amideast Community-Based Learning Coordinators in Jordan and Morocco; the discussion will be facilitated by Director of Education Abroad, Dr. Elena D. Corbett. Please use the link provided to RSVP and you will receive an email with the Zoom link closer to the event.
