"The Journey: Black Professionals in STEM.
The seminar will include a panel of black professionals sharing their journey in becoming experts in their respective STEM-related industries. In hosting this event, the ASA seeks to create an avenue for UHCL’s black student community to learn from professionals in the STEM industry who once faced similar challenges transitioning from college into their professional careers.

The Education abroad office will be present to help students with international internship opportunities, while the event speakers will be conducting onsite mock interviews and helping and helping students structure their elevator pitch.

Traditional African finger foods, snacks, and refreshments will be provided."
