GLOBAL COMPETENCIES FOR CAREER SUCCESS: A mini teacher leadership summit during International Education Week 2018!

This day-long workshop is designed to help educators incorporate global competencies into career, technical, and STEM education programs. Working in teams, participants will network with peers and have discussions with experts about global competencies in the context of career, technical, and STEM education. Groups will participate in targeted skills development sessions and collaborate to design viable action plans for school and community engagement to increase project success. By the end of the day, each team will have an action plan with clear project goals that they can take back to their local school districts and communities to garner support for global competencies education and training from key stakeholders.
