Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board Gains Insight from the Experiences of Fulbright Specialist Program Alumni during its 279th Board Meeting

Fulbright Specialist John Fabrikant describes his project in Burma to FFSB Vice-Chair Mark Pryor and Fulbright Specialists David Goldsmith and Devon Corcia Payne-Sturges and other members of the FFSB.

Assistant Secretary of State for Educational and Cultural Affairs Marie Royce gave a warm welcome to the members of the Board and highlighted recent developments and activities related to the Fulbright Program. The Board was then briefed about exciting new initiatives and ways to strengthen collaboration among the Fulbright Program’s stakeholders, including the Fulbright alumni network.

As part of the agenda, three Fulbright Specialist Program alumni shared their Fulbright experiences in Myanmar, Philippines, and Germany.
