Chicago Schools is a peer-reviewed graduate student symposium bringing together students and academics from four continents and twenty universities to present their research on modern traditions as well as Chicago's architecture. Organized by Illinois Institute of Technology in partnership with the Chicago Biennial, the event includes a keynote speech at the Chicago Cultural Center as well as all-day presentations with opportunities to socialize at S.R. Crown Hall. Papers and lectures address the interplay between authors and audiences in the process of making history. Attendance is free of charge.
