Kenya on My Mind: An Interview with Mayor Heidi Davison

In September 2008, eight American women traveled to Kenya to develop empowerment networks with Maasai women. The State Department's Office of Citizen Exchanges sponsored the program. Heidi Davison, the Mayor of the Unified Government of Athens-Clarke County in the State of Georgia, was one of the participants. Like her American counterparts, she continues to be influenced by her exchange experience.
