Overview

The Fulbright Program offers grants to qualified Indian graduate students to study at the graduate level in the United States. Indian scholars may apply to conduct post-doctoral research at U.S. institutions and are eligible for Fulbright Scholar-in-Residence Grants, and students and teachers are also eligible for the Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) Program. In addition, students are eligible to apply for the Fulbright-Nehru Master’s Fellowship for Leadership Development, the Fulbright-Nehru Doctoral and Professional Research Fellowship, and Fulbright-Nehru CII Fellowship for Leadership in Management. Teachers are eligible for the Fulbright Distinguished Awards in Teaching Program.

Overview

The Fulbright Program offers grants to India for U.S. citizens. U.S. students and young professionals may apply for a grant to pursue independent research in India, while U.S. scholars and professionasl may teach or research in India through Fulbright. In addition, U.S. scholars are eligible to apply for the Fulbright Specialist Program and U.S. students are eligible to apply for the Fulbright English Teaching Assistant (ETA) Program and the Critical Language Enhancement Awards. U.S. citizens are also eligible to apply for the Fulbright International Education Administrators Program and the Fulbright Distinguished Awards in Teaching Program.
