The Fulbright Program offers grants to qualified Burmese graduate students to study at the graduate level in the United States. In addition, Burmese students and teachers of English are also eligible for the Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) Program. Scholars are also eligible to apply for the Fulbright Scholar-in-Residence Program.

The Fulbright Program offers grants to Burma for U.S. citizens. U.S. Scholars may teach at Burmese institutions through Fulbright. In addition, U.S. faculty and professionals may also apply for the Fulbright Specialist Program and the Fulbright Public Policy Fellowship. U.S. Students are eligible for the Fulbright English Teaching Assistant (ETA) Program.
